SCARBOROUGH – Scarborough High School track and cross country boosters will sponsor a 5-kilometer road race on Sunday, Jan. 27. The race will start and finish on the access road at Scarborough High School. The kids’ 1-mile race starts at 1 p.m., with the 5K slated for 1:30 p.m. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the high school. Entry fees are $10 for the kids’ race and $15 for the 5K. A short sleeve T-shirt will be presented to all who pre-register by Jan. 25. E-mail [email protected] for a registration form. Medals will be presented to all kids in the 1-mile race, with trophies to the top boy and girl. In the 5K race, trophies and medals will go to the top three in each of eight age groups and Open overall male and female. All proceeds benefit Scarborough High track & cross country teams.
