RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Romeo Glazier was celebrated 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 7, at St. Athanasius and St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the principal celebrant, the Rev. Ray Picard concelebrated. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” “Amazing Grace,” “Softly and Tenderly” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.” Readings were done by nieces, Bev Gallant and Aleta Blouin. The homily was given by the Rev. Ray Picard. The eulogy was given by son-in-law, Peter Perry and niece, Bev Gallant. Pallbearers were Dawn Emerman, Katie Perry, Nicholas Perry, Matthew Glazier, April Glazier, Christopher Mejais and Carmella Glazier. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Relatives and friends may pay tribute to Romeo at www.mem.com. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
