FARMINGTON – A vehicle leaving Jack’s Trading Post failed to yield to traffic Tuesday causing a collision.
Police said McKenzie Searles, 17, of Phillips failed to yield as she exited the store lot at mid-morning and struck a vehicle driven by Lawrence Campbell, 54, also of Phillips. Campbell was driving north on Fairbanks Road.
Campbell’s passenger, Nicolette Pinkham, 49, of Phillips complained of pain from the seat belt said police officer Edward Hastings.
A Northstar ambulance responded to the scene but no one was taken to the hospital, Hastings added. Farmington Fire Department helped with traffic control.
Searles’ vehicle, a 1999 Ford, sustained about $2,500 in damage, Hastings said. It was towed. Campbell, driving a 1999 KIA, saw about $1,500 in damage to his car.
