MARLBOROUGH, N.H. (AP) – A Marlborough farm is being fined $84,000 for breaking federal workplace safety standards connected to the death of a teen last summer.

Travis DeSimone, 17, of Marlborough, Mass., and three others were working on Corbett Creek Farm when DeSimone was crushed by a falling concrete wall.

The group had been hired to convert a dairy barn into a dog kennel.

The farm is being cited for allowing the workers in a clearly recognized hazard area.

The farm has 15 days to ask for hearing on the proposed fines.
