I had to smile when I read this headline in a recent Sun Journal: “Judge tosses part of suit.” I hope it was the upper part. Otherwise, it could have been embarrassing for all. He must have been really disgusted. Shades of Groucho Marx.

Another headline read “Without U.S. involvement, peace efforts are doomed.” Is the United States the new savior of the world? I was always taught that was Jesus’ role. The U.S. hasn’t found its own peace yet.

But, there are very promising signs of real progress. Religion is creeping back into politics. The church (Christianity) is reuniting with the state, as it should always have been. God is getting into the government. The real answers are beginning to infiltrate the problems. Praise God.
