LEWISTON – Sun Journal staff reporter Daniel Hartill has been chosen as one of 25 arts journalists to participate as fellows in the fourth Arts Journalism Institute in Theater and Musical Theater at the USC Annenberg School for Communication. Supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute will be conducted in Los Angeles from Feb. 5-15.

Institute participants include theater critics and editors, feature writers, and arts and entertainment editors from newspapers, radio and television stations.

The 25 fellows will participate in a rigorous 10-day program that includes writing workshops, history lectures, acting and directing classes, observation of rehearsals, encounters with theater professionals, and performances of plays and musicals.
