WILDWOOD, Fla. – Beatrice L. O’Leary White, 86, of Leesburg, Fla., and St. John, passed away peacefully, Jan., 12, at the Arbor Village Rehabilitation Nursing Center.

Bea was born in St. John, March 14, 1921, the daughter of of Lee and Clara (Mills) O’Leary. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards and traveling.

After the death of her parents, she lived in St. Francis, with her grandmother, Christine Mills as a child. She graduated from Fort Fairfield High School while living with her aunt Angie and uncle Renis Levasseur.

After graduation, she worked as a waitress in Houlton, then moved to Waterville, and worked as a bookkeeper at the Hathaway Shirt Factory. She then married Basil White and moved to Auburn, and worked as a bookkeeper for the Belgrade Shoe Co. for many years.

After the Belgrade Shoe Co. closed she moved to Turner, and worked as a bookkeeper for the Murray Oil Co. until retirement. She resided in Leesburg, Fla., for the past several years. She was a past member of the Receccahs of Fort Fairfield and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Auburn.

She is survived by one sister, Faye O’Leary Hafford of Allagash; several nieces and nephews; and two special nieces, Faye O’Leary Hamm of North Fort Meyers, Fla., and Randi Hafford Jandreau of Fort Kent; and her beloved and devoted partner, William “Bill” Tully of Leesburg, Fla.

She was predeceased by her husband, Basil in 1968; three brothers, Elbert and Clavin O’Leary, both of Allagash and Robert O’Leary Sr. of St. Francis.
