LIVERMORE FALLS – Guy H. Jamison III, 56, a resident of Walnut Street, Livermore Falls, died very unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 13, at his home after ill health.

He was born in Rumford on Nov. 19, 1951, the son of Guy H. Jr. and Katherine Rose (Wood) Jamison. He was a graduate of Mexico High School.

On May 28, 1977, he married the former Yvette J. Lauzier of Livermore Falls at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. He had worked for Bass Shoe Co. in Wilton for many years, retiring due to ill health.

He enjoyed find-a-word puzzles, working with wood, latch hoop rugs, sci-fi movies and reading. He especially loved to spend time with his wife and daughter. His daughter was his special pride and joy.

He is survived by his wife, Yvette of Livermore Falls; a daughter, Sara Jamison of North Andover, Mass.; his father, Guy H. Jamison Jr. of Mexico; brothers, Ken Jamison and his wife, Mayange, of Virginia, Brian Jamison and his wife, April, of Mexico, Rodney Jamison and his wife, Pauline, of Dixfield, Wayne Jamison and his wife, Shane, of Mexico, Alan Jamison of Mexico, Bruce Jamison and his wife, Lisa, of Roxbury and Jeff Jamison and his wife, Donna, of Saco.

He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine Rose Jamison; and half sister, Gail Young.
