I am an ex-employee of Richardson Hollow. I read the lawsuit against founder Linda Hertell was dismissed (Jan. 4) because the attorney general didn’t file paperwork required to keep the complaint against her alive. The 133 former employees have been wronged three times; by Richardson Hollow, by the system and now the AG’s office.
The owner walks away, and we, the ones who stood by her, get slapped in the face with closed doors with no pay, lost vacation pay. Then we’re slapped again by the system that is supposed to represent us.
Shame on this system for dismissing the case. It isn’t their money being owed, is it? Maybe the AG should go back to the books and check laws for the correct timeframe to reply to paperwork!
I don’t know how they sleep at night, but I personally don’t care, and neither do the 133 ex-employees. I say shame on all of them for turning their backs on these dedicated people and allowing this injustice.
