WINSLOW – In a battle of the top two teams in the division, Maranacook Area Youth Hockey Bantams rallied furiously with four goals in the third period to tie Central Maine Gold, 4-4, on Saturday at Sukee Arena.

Dakota Bowie scored three goals and Tony McIver one for Maranacook (11-4-3). Ian Palmer tallied three assists, and Eric Crawley also set up a goal.

Tyler Bouchard connected twice for Central Maine, with Ben Roy and Jacob Cain each netting a goal. Roy produced two assists along with one helper by Will Bolduc. Maranacook’s River Mullan was opposed in goal by Cameron Tibbetts.
