AUBURN – Auburn YMCA Girls’ 5th and 6th-grade travel basketball stormed to another victory over the weekend, dropping Gardiner, 46-35.
Kory Norcross led Auburn with 14 points. Tianna Harriman added 10 and Brooke Reynolds eight, followed by Kennedy Hubbard, Molly Murry and Paige Young each with four and Mariah Carroll with two.
Ally Day paced Gardiner with 13 points, while Ellen Kelley and Carlee Hussey mustered five apiece.
Auburn will face its toughest contest of the season to date at 2 p.m. next Sunday, when it battles Augusta Rec at Cony High School.
