YARMOUTH – Tyler Couture and Branden Dyer scored two goals apiece Saturday to help Auburn Squirt House Red Wings preserve a 5-5 tie with Midcoast.

Dyer tallied the tying goal with 8:08 remaining, only seven seconds after Jacob Mulderig’s second goal of the day put Midcoast on top.

Jacob Lawrence also scored for Auburn (1-2-2), with Matt Verrill assisting Couture’s first goal. Savannah Shaw tended the net for Auburn. Mulderig added an assist for Midcoast (2-2-1).

Matt Deveaux, Corey Lepage and Curtis Anderson also notched goals in the back-and-forth affair, with Jesse Sherwood performing the goal duties.
