RUMFORD – Mountain Valley High School has announced that Mollie Kaubrys has been selected as the DAR Good Citizen for the Class of 2008. Kaubrys is the daughter of Mary and Jack Kaubrys of Rumford.

The DAR candidate is selected by the principal. The selection is based on the following criteria: dependability, including truthfulness, loyalty and punctuality; service, including cooperation, courtesy and consideration of others; leadership, including personality, self-control and ability to assume responsibility; patriotism, including unselfish interest in family, school, community and nation

As Mountain Valley High School’s candidate Kaubrys is qualified to compete in division and national competition for scholarships.

She is a student leader, top ranking academic student and athlete. She is a member of several organizations, including National Honor Society and Student Council.
