PARIS – Wetlands scientist Donald Murphy will discuss forest harvest and management factors involving wetlands, streams, vernal pools and significant wildlife habitats on Thursday at the 7 p.m. meeting of the Western Maine chapter of the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine.
The presentation in Room 118 at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School will focus on rules and guidelines and management options not addressed. A discussion period will give those attending a chance to bring up their own wildlife and wetlands scenarios.
