RANGELEY – Memorial services for Stanley “Stan” Bartash, of Rangeley, were held Wednesday from the Church of the Good Shepherd, Main Street, Rangeley with the Rev. Henry Male Jr., celebrant. Nancy Ludwig was the organist and the following hymns were sung by the congregation, “For the Beauty of the Earth,” “Jerusalem my happy home,” “Amazing Grace” and “Joyful, Joyful we Adore you.” Louise Doak recited the first reading, Lamentations 3:22-16, 31-35 and Barbara Meservey the second reading, 2 Corinthians 4: 1 6-5:9. Psalm 121 and Psalm 23 were read in unison. Kemankeag Masonic Lodge 213 of Rangeley performed Masonic services and Thornton “Poody” Williams and Paul Meservey served as ushers. After services, the Episopal Church women and the Masonettes provided a comfort luncheon in the undercroft of the church. Memorial services were cared for and provided by the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service, and Remembrance Center of Farmington.
