CANTON – Florence B. Dulac, 87, a resident of 29 Pleasant St., Canton, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Victorian Villa, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Lewiston, July 18, 1920, the daughter of Lucien and Rose-Anna (St. Laurent) Grenier. She attended Lewiston schools and was employed as a nurse’s aide at the former Marcotte Home, but was a homemaker most of her life.
She enjoyed swimming, knitting and cooking. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 122.
Survivors include three sons, Willie O. and wife, Diane, of Lewiston, Ralph D. and wife, Diane, of Hartford and Ronnie L. and wife, Linda, of Auburn; one daughter, Lillian Brideau of Wilton; one daughter-in-law, Evelyn Dulac of Auburn; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willie; one son, Lucien; and one sister, Yvette Cretien.
The family would like to thank the staff of Victorian Villa for the special care given to our mother during her seven-year stay.
