Zach Keene, senior guard, Livermore Falls

Keene was the model of consistency in victories over Mountain Valley Conference rivals Telstar and Jay last week. He dominated the second half on his way to 27 points while leading the Andies to a 57-33 win over Telstar. Against Jay, he poured in 27 points again, and also grabbed 14 rebounds, to help Livermore Falls eek out a 43-41 win over Jay.

Girls’ Player of the week

Kenni Norton, junior, guard, Mt. Abram

Norton continues to pace the defending Class C state champs. She torched Winthrop for 41 points earlier in the year and is keeping the Roadrunners in position in Western C. Mt. Abram is fifth at 7-4 after two wins this week. Norton had 29 points in a 57-39 victory over Dirigo Saturday. On Monday, she added 13 points in a loss to Mountain Valley, but led the Roadrunners to another win with 19 points in a 54-35 decision over Carrabec.
