LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Danielle Sirois of Lewiston and Daniel Leighton of Orrington.

Ms. Sirois is the daughter of Elaine Sirois and Bruce McFarland of Wales and Richard and Laurie Sirois of Leeds. She received a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences and leadership and organizational studies from the University of Southern Maine in 2007. She is currently employed as an administrative assistant for the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College.

Mr. Leighton is the son of Michael and Susan Leighton of Orrington. He graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School in 2004 and attended the University of Maine at Farmington. He is currently employed by Luxotica Retail in Bangor.

The wedding is scheduled for July 19 in Lewiston, with a reception to follow at Lost Valley Ski Lodge in Auburn.
