AUBURN – Central Maine Technical College rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit, but missed a bid to send the game into overtime in the waning seconds in a 79-77 loss to New Brunswick-St. John’s.
CMTC played the final seconds without top scorer Tiffany Seams, who left the game with a cut after a collision in the final minute.
Seams led the Mustangs (7-5) with 26 points. Katie Martim added 17 points and Brittany Salley scored 13 points. Julie Edwards led the visitors with 26 points.

AUBURN – Dave LaBonte and Tyler Smithgall scored 24 points apiece to lead Central Maine Technical College to a 91-86 triumph Sunday over New Brunswick-St. John’s.
