YMCA board adds five new directors
AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA has announced the addition of five new members to the board of directors. The board oversees all governance, policy implementation, fiscal control and financial development of the YMCA and has 25 directors. The new directors are Brad Sloat, Jane Brodsky, Rick Cloutier, Kim Slivinski and Chuck Schwab.
In making the announcement, YMCA Executive Director Jim Lawler said, “We are thrilled to have five high-caliber individuals join with our strong nucleus of existing board members to direct the future of the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA.”
The other members of the YMCA board are Kelly Shaw, Ann Crispin, Mike Spaulding, Mary Curtis, Tom Anthoine III, Jim Bouchles, Richard DuBois, Randy Dustin, Alan Hahnel, Bonnie Hayes, Richard Kendall, Fern Masse, Dan Moreno, Sheila Morrison, Steve Myers, Verne Paradie Jr., Malcolm Philbrook, Beth Shea, Sue Sturgis and Pennell Woodard.
The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA serves local individuals and families. In addition to being a childcare provider, YMCAs provide health and fitness programs, youth sports, aquatics, summer day camp, a teen center and community development as an integral part of their mission.
