TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – Kervin Ray Macomber, 54, of Dunedin and Tarpon Springs, Fla., died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 4.
Kervin, formerly of Auburn, was the son of Alden and Peggy Macomber of Auburn. He attended Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1971. He was also a graduate of the University of Maine, Orono. He had been a Pinellas County, Fla., exceptional education teacher for 20 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin. He was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle and teacher.
Survivors include two sons, Kale Macomber of Denver, Colo., and Cody Macomber of Dunedin, Fla.; two daughters, Kaitlyn Macomber and Lindsey Celidonio-Chatleain, both of Dunedin, Fla.; his parents of Auburn; one brother, Kelley Macomber of Camden; two sisters, Diane Jordan of Mechanic Falls and Darlene James-Clark of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; nieces, Jennifer James-McDougall of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Amber James of Phoenix, Ariz.; nephew, Jeffrey Jordan of Mechanic Falls; and several cousins, great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Michael Caledonia.
