CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, N.J. – Carmen Theodore, 92, of Cape May Court House, N.J., died Jan. 24, at the Cape Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston and moved there in 1985. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House and the Comrade Sunday school class and the Women’s Missionary Society.

While in Lewiston, she was active in community organizations and was a certified Red Cross worker.

She is survived by two daughters, Ellen C. Grant (Duane) of Calabash, N.C., and Joan S. Theodore and her companion, John Roy, of Goshen, N.J.; two brothers, Leo Duchesneau of Shrewsbury, Mass., and Ronald Duchesneau of Lewiston; a sister, Lorraine Ouellette of Bishopville, Md.; four grandchildren, Tim (Tracie) Grant and their daughter, Riley of Colorado, Julie Grant of Maryland, Dawn Theodore of Arizona, and Keith Theodore of Colorado; and a daughter-in-law, Lynne Shaughnessy of Arizona.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 1971; and a son, George C. in 1997.
