AUBURN – The Auburn Squirt House Red Wings hockey team extended its unbeaten streak to six games with pair of victories over Lebanon, N.H., in a weekend friendship tournament.

Auburn prevailed 7-3 in a Saturday contest at Hartford Municipal Rink in White River Junction, Vt. Branden Dyer notched a hat trick for Auburn, with Tyler Couture, Matthew Verrill, Mitchell Spurr and Zachary Boyd contributing one goal apiece. Jacob Lawrence added an assist for Auburn, with Savannah Shaw securing the win in net.

The action switched to Lebanon’s home rink Sunday, with Auburn pulling out a 4-3 triumph. Dyer, Couture, Shaw and Spurr shared the goal-scoring wealth, with assists to Verrill and Cameron Berube. Jamison Pooler was the victorious goalie.
