LEWISTON – Jan. 21 results from the Maine Table Tennis League, sponsored by Stiga, at Lewiston Armory:

A Table, Al Landry, Jim Nason; B, Bob Williams, Dave Mireault; C, Sebastian Taylor, Manuel Sangalang. Mireault and Grenier were named players of the week.

New members joining the league this week included Peter Wong, a Bates College mathematics professor, along with his son, Michael, and Jean Grant all the way from Kennebunk.

There will be a tournament at Bridgton Town Hall this Saturday. All league players are invited to participate in this event. There will be three categories of play: open; doubles; and over 60. Warm-up is at 9 a.m., with play to begin at 10 a.m. Prizes and trophies will be given out to the winner and runner-ups.
