LEWISTON – Armand J. Montminy, 76, a resident of 41 Fisher Ave., Lewiston, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 25, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston, Feb. 17, 1931, the son of Alphonse C. and Anna (Fournier) Montminy.
He was employed most of his life at Bates Mill, retiring 20 years ago. His hobbies included model trains, comic books, and he was an avid New England sports fan. He was very proud of his grandchildren. He loved people and enjoyed calling on his many friends. He was the best dad in the world.
Survivors include his wife, the former Annette Hiltunen of Lewiston; three daughters, Alicia McIntyre and husband, Douglas, of Greene, Eileen Hall and husband, Steven, of Lewiston and Tamara La Grange and husband, Harvey Jr., of Sabattus; three brothers, Roger Montminy of Lewiston, Edgar Montminy and wife, Faye, of Belfast and Gerard and wife, Tammy, of Lewiston; two sisters, Irene Tremblay of Lewiston and Bernice Martin of Auburn; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
