VFW meeting

LISBON – VFW Post 9459 and Auxiliary will have an organizational meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at the post, Route 196. Discussion will include future suppers and events. The Auxiliary will meet after that session. For more information, call 353-2152.

Grange program

POLAND – Excelsior Grange 5, 446 Harris Hill Road, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. The program will celebrate Valentine’s Day. All members are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served in the downstairs hall, which is handicapped-accessible.

Open house

AUBURN – The Auburn Children’s House, a Montessori School serving children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years, will host an open house for summer program enrollments (ages 3 to 8 years) and fall program enrollments from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. Those attending will meet staff and parents and learn about Montessori early child education.

Fortier Chapter

LEWISTON – The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52, Association Canado-Americaine, will gather at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in the Senior Citizens Room of the Multi-Purpose Center.
