AUBURN – Elizabeth (Libby) Robinson Pugsley, 87, of Schooner Estates, died Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care, with her family by her side.

She was born in Brewer, Feb. 3, 1920, the daughter of Beverly Robinson and Helen Robinson Griffin. She was a graduate of Lewiston High School with the class of 1937, and Burdette College in Boston.

Libby was active in many clubs and organizations including Y’ettes and CMMC Women’s Hospital Association. She enjoyed her family, friends and games of all kinds.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Polly) Clements of Auburn and Naples and Mrs. Bertrand (Priscilla) Bolduc of Harpswell; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Pugsley, whom she married Nov. 27, 1940; her sister, Ruth Grant of Hampden; and two stepsisters, Lois Barnes of Nashville, Tenn., and Eleanor Griffin of Los Angeles, Calif.
