BURLINGTON, Conn. (AP) – Authorities are investigating the death of a 43-year-old oil truck owner who was killed when the vehicle rolled over him in a Burlington driveway.

State police say Kurt Klingner of Farmington was pulled under the truck when its parking brake failed and he tried to stop it from rolling down the driveway.

Klingner and another worker were outside the truck to deliver oil for his business, Klingner Family Oil, when the incident occurred around 11:20 a.m. Monday.

The other worker, 50-year-old Richard Obrizzo of Avon, was not injured.

Officials from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident along with police.
