LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating the theft of two snowmobiles worth $6,000 from a Pine Ridge Loop residence off Routes 106 and 133.

The machines are 1999 Ski-Doos; both are yellow with purple lettering, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

One of them is a Model MXZ 670 HO and the other is a MXZ 600, he said. Each is worth about $3,000.

The snowmobiles were parked in the yard and were noticed missing Monday morning, Steward said.

Officer Joe Sage is investigating. Anyone with information about the theft can call the police station at 897-3424.
