TURNER – The line-up of classes at SAD 52 River Valley Adult and Community Education includes the following:
“German Stars”: On Wednesday, Feb. 6, learn how to create three-dimensional German stars that can be used as ornaments or a handmade gift. Once made, they are dipped in melted paraffin wax and sprinkled with glitter. All materials needed will be provided by the instructor.
“Quilt Addiction”: The 10-week class will begin Tuesday, Feb. 12. Toss pillows, a couch throw, table runner, quilt or purse are some of the projects possible.
“French for Beginners I”: The class will start Monday, Feb. 11.
“Spanish for Beginners I”: The class will commence Tuesday, Feb. 12.
“Introduction to Computer Literary”: Those new to a computer can take the class beginning Monday, Feb. 11. Participants will learn how to surf the Web, explore the Internet and set up e-mail accounts.
“Introduction to Microsoft Word”: The class will begin Monday, Feb. 11. Participants will learn formatting, position, graphics and templates, manage files, communications and folders.
