LEWISTON – The Lewiston Senior Citizens will host a “Brown Bag Day” at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the Multi-Purpose Center in conjunction with the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy.

The free information session will offer seniors an opportunity to learn more about identifying and solving medication difficulties and eliminating duplicate, outdated or improperly stored medications.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a list of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications for a free consultation on potential drug interactions by Medicine Shoppe pharmacist, Lana Hoang.

Participants can schedule a follow-up session at the pharmacy, located at 373 Sabattus St. For more information, call 783-3539 Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Anyone age 50 and over is welcome. Snacks will be served after the meeting.
