NORWAY – Ruth W. Bradford, 97, of Norway, died Thursday, Jan. 31, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Norway on Oct. 28, 1910, to William and Marsha (Watkins) Woodworth. She married the late Earl Bradford on Oct. 28, 1931. She had worked as a trained nurse and in later years was a home maker.
She was a member of the Second Congregational Church in Norway, where she had taught Sunday School for many years, involved with the Youth Group, vacation Bible study and Pilgrim Lodge.
She is survived by two daughters, Hope B. Millett and her late husband, Bunn, of Norway and Georgine B. Hall and husband, William, of Norway; a son, Bruce E. Bradford and wife, Sally, of Norway; eight grandchildren, Robin Twitchell, Lori (Millett) Akerberg, Cheryl Hall, Norma Smith, Susan Bradford, Kelly Hickey, Scott Bradford and Russell Hall; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by seven brothers, Herbert, Elbridge, Henry, Lewis, Wallace, Victor, and Arthur Woodworth; and two sisters, Evangelyn Turner and Esther Abbott.
