Dale Andrews, 30, of Auburn, lost control of a 2000 Mitsubishi, owned by Donna Hitts of Auburn, and hit a 1996 Dodge van owned by William Morin, 21, of Auburn, while it was parked in the Great Falls Marketing parking lot at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Andrews stated the Mitsubishi skidded on the ice. $2,000 damage was done to the Mitsubishi, and $500 to the van.

A 1989 Jeep SUV being driven by Rachel Hinkel, 17, of Jay, and owned by Jennifer Smith, of Farmington, crossed the center line on Turner St. and collided with a 1997 Ford being driven by Angela Burke, 24, of Livermore Falls, at 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday. The report states Hinkel dropped something and leaned over to pick it up when her car went off the road. She said she thought Burke’s lights were off. $4,000 in damage was done to the SUV, and $6,000 was done to the Ford.

A 2002 Ford SUV being driven by Pamela Edwards, 40, of Sabattus, collided with a Blue Bird truck owned by Western Maine Service, Inc., and operated by Stacie Sargent, 49, of Rumford, on Center St. at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday. The report states Edwards was looking for a turn and ran a red light while Sargent was turning. $4,000 in damage was done to the SUV and $1,400 the the Blue Bird.

A 1996 Honda being driven by Andrew Saucier, 24, of Lewiston, crossed the center line on Washington St. at 11:15 on Thursday night and collided with a 2000 Dodge pickup being driven by Nathan McNally, 22, of New Gloucester. $4,000 in damage was done to the car, and $12,000 to the pickup.

A 1997 Chevrolet being driven by Justin Baker, 23, of Caribou, stuck a 1996 Jeep being driven by Joyce Clark, 40, of Leeds, at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday on Center St. The report states Baker took his eyes off the road and failed to see that Clark had stopped to turn into the Kentucky Fried Chicken. $2,000 damage was done to the Chevrolet and $500 to the Jeep.

Elaine Tibbets, 59, of Dixfield, lost control of her 1998 Ford and struck a guardrail on Riverside Drive at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The report states that “speed was not a factor, as there is a dangerous lip in that area and conditions were poor.” Approximately $3250 in damage was done to the car.

A 2002 blue Dodge pickup being driven by Richard Bussiere, 55, of Auburn, skidded on ice on Center St. at 6:55 Saturday morning and struck the driver’s side rear tire of a city Public Works snowplow, as it was plowing the road. The accident caused $8,000 damage to the car. The plow, being operated by David E. Lane, 52, of Turner, was undamaged.

A 2001 red Dodge SUV owned by Michael Sampson, of Harrison, and being driven by Kellie Sampson, 37, also of Harrison, slid on the ice on Minot avenue at 7:01 a.m. on Saturday and struck a utility pole, causing $5,500 in damage to the car.

A 2006 Subaru being driven by Oral Clarke, 32, of Turner, collided with a Dodge van being driven by Emma Jordan, 76, of Elmhurst, NY, at 12:40 p.m. Saturday on Mt. Auburn Ave. Jordan was driving west on Mt. Auburn and struck the Subaru, owned by Heidi Brown-Majdoub, as he was turning into the Kohl’s parking lot.

A 1993 Chevrolet being being driven by Bert Pelletier, 38, of Lewiston, collided with a blue 1996 Chevrolet pickup being driven by Alana Fogg, 40, of Mechanic Falls, at 2:40 p.m. Saturday on Minot Ave. Pelletier’s brakes failed, and his car rear-ended Fogg’s, causing $1,000 damage to his, and $2,000 damage to hers.

Lewiston

A 2006 Subaru being driven by Susan Oram, 50, of Auburn, was sideswiped by a 2006 Jeep SUV being driven by Joanna Black, 33, of Auburn, at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Canal and Ash St. Black was attempting to merge when the collision occurred. $2,000 damage was done to the Subaru, and $200 to the Jeep.

A 2003 Chrysler van being driven by Jessica Herrick, 23, of Lewiston, and a 2004 Kia beind driven by Carol Brown, 33, of Durham, were hit by a 2003 Pontiac being driven by Frances Gauvreau, 82, of Lewiston, at 8:12 a.m. on Thursday on Sabattus St. Herrick and Brown were stopped in traffic and Gauvreau, who could not see them because of glare from the sun, drove between them and struck them both. $2,500 damage was done to his car, $1,000 to Brown’s and $700 to Herrick’s.
