LEWISTON – A memorial service honoring the life of Elizabeth “Peggy” J. McGraw was celebrated Saturday.

The Rev. Beau Wagner officiated the service, which began with the opening hymn “In the Garden.” The Liturgy of the Word was read by Joan Simonds. The Gradual Hymn “How Great Thou Art” was then sung.

During the service, words of remembrance were expressed by Peggy’s son, Bart McGraw, Peggy’s daughter, Kimberly McGraw, and Peggy’s sister, Ralphine Hyson. Others who were in attendance at the service briefly shared stories about how Peggy positively impacted their life.

The service concluded with the closing hymn “Amazing Grace.” A reception of fellowship was held at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Lisbon Falls following the services at the funeral home. Arrangements were by the family-owned Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home.
