LEWISTON – Scott Randell Bradford, 45, of Mechanic Falls, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, upon arrival at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Somerville, Mass., on Jan. 13, 1963, the son of Irving and Linda (Randell) Bradford.
On Aug. 7, 1999, he married Shirley Marie Cormier. Together they enjoyed the outdoors, music and sports. His other love was their cat KIKI Girl.
He graduated from Edward Little High School and was a self-employed contractor owning Scott Bradford Construction. He always took great pride in his work.
One of his greatest passions was being on the water bass fishing. In the past, he dedicated endless hours to the Maine B.A.S.S. Federation. He served as Maine B.A.S.S. Federation President 2005 and Maine B.A.S.S. Federation Conservationist 2001-2003. He participated at the state level in regards to milfoil summits and legislative matters, lake and river clean-ups, building and installation of duck boxes, and loon rafts.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bradford; his father, Irving; his mother, Linda; three brothers, Mark, Gregg and Eric; and two sisters, Vicki and Chanin.
He will be greatly missed by many.
