EAGLE BEACH, Aruba – The wedding of Kristi Whittier and Jon Laverdiere was held at 2 p.m., Dec. 18, at Eagle Beach, Aruba. Robert Gibson officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Laverdiere is the daughter of Roger and Terry Whittier of Monmouth. Mr. Laverdiere is the son of Wil and Leona Laverdiere of Livermore Falls.

The bride, given in marriage by her father and her son, Dylan, wore a white strapless floor length gown with beads and carried a tropical bouquet with birds of paradise, roses and sunflowers.

A reception followed in Aruba. The couple took a cruise with their parents and the bride’s son to Aruba, Curacao, St. Marteen and St. Thomas. They are residing in North Monmouth.

The bride is employed at Ouellette and Associates in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is employed at Tyler Technologies in Falmouth.
