LEWISTON – Ann M. Cox, 80, resident of Schooner Estates, Auburn, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 2, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

She was born in Augusta, July 24, 1927, the daughter of Eva Gagnon. She was educated in Lewiston schools.

She was a cook for the Chick-a-Dee Restaurant for 25 years, and enjoyed yard sales, baseball and music. She married Bernard “Barney” Cox in 1946.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jane Child and Mrs. Susan Rawstron; three grandchildren, Brian Boucher, Greg Boucher and Shelly Cox; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbra DeRubis of Connecticut.

She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
