I believe that the open promotion of homosexual behavior by the media is causing more homosexuality. I believe the open promotion of the homosexual lifestyle by the media and in the classroom by groups such as the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network has led preteen children to announce to their parents that they are homosexual.

Specifically, I question the barrage of smiling gay images in the Sun Journal, the paper’s implied approval of same-sex marriage, its editorial policy of same-sex wedding announcements, as well as bias when it comes to the expression of concern about homosexuality in general.

I was also concerned about articles regarding the play, “The Laramie Project,” which was recently performed by the Community Little Theater in Auburn.

I believe the media has swallowed the militant gay line that those gay behaviors are genetic, without scientific credential. The work of militant gays should be thoroughly exposed by the media.

I urge the Sun Journal, and all media, to immediately halt any policies that would continue to promote such a condition of men and women. I urge them to take another direction – investigate whether, in fact, the work of militant gays is recruiting youngsters into that way of life.

The paper should not be perpetrating the false claim of genetic cause and do more to strengthen marriage and traditional family.
