WASHINGTON, D.C. – Laurent L. Samson, 63, formerly of Lewiston, died on Jan. 25.

He was born on March 26, 1944, in Lewiston, the son of Romeo and Noella (Pomerleau) Samson. He graduated from St. Dominic High School in 1962.

He is survived by four children, Kathryn L. Cortes and her husband, John, of Lewiston, Christopher Samson of Massachusetts, and Alexandra Samson and Scott Samson, both of Virginia; a brother, Andre Samson and his wife, Patricia, of New York; two grandchildren, Tia and Tanner Cortes of Lewiston; and a niece, Christine Telford and her husband, Ron, and their son, Samson of New York.
