Andre the seal grew up abandoned but was found by the Goodridge family and their house. Then he was discovered by the New England Aquarium plus he was famous for swimming over 100 miles over the ocean.

Andre was abandoned as a pup and was found by Harry Goodridge. As he was hauled aboard he didn’t yelp or act hostile to the two boat man. He in fact wanted to explore every nook and cranny he could possibly find on the old boat. He in fact didn’t even pay attention to his kidnappers just walked around and basked in the warm sun. Being curious Harry Goodridge in fact cautioned himself towards the seal then Andre waddled up towards and then left to go explore. After that they left the shallow water and returned to the dock in Rock Port.

When Andre first came in contact with the Goodridge families house. Andre just walked up from the truck to the back door and waddled up the old wooden stairs. He explored through the entire house leaving no corner uncovered and just wondered what to do. Then he met the dog, the dog wasn’t mean and wasn’t jealous he just let Andre explore through the house and backyard. Even though Andre pushed the dog out of his own dog house he just walked out and laid on the cool summer grass. He was slowly nurtured on human milk feed and discovered how to get what he wanted when he wanted Though once he was older they fed him fish, but after liking the flavor he discovered he could hunt on his own.

After working in the water Andre got discovered by the New England Aquarium. As Andre progressed and grew he finally got enough blubber to bear the cold Maine water. After he trained in the water it wasn’t training but mostly playing with him in the ocean. Andre had attracted attention and in doing so one of the citizens called the aquarium which attracted an exhibit director. After seeing his break through in Andres’ skills he decided to give him a job at the local aquarium for a show at the aquarium. After the exhibit director saw this he decided to right to the owner of the aquarium. After hearing of Andres’ skills he decided to make a contract allowing him to perform at the aquarium.

Andre was famous for swimming over 100 miles of water to Rock Port. As Andre was set free from the aquarium on one day he would swim all the way to Rock Port because he had bonded with Harry. With visiting once a year, people form Rock Port went to see the wondrous seal swim in the port. After appearing in the town of Rock Port they made a statue in the pet cemetery and engraved in the statue was his years of discovery and death. Sadly Andre the seal died of old age or from a speed boat cruising the water but none the less he’s dead sadly.

We have gone over his death and his discovery also how he became famous and his skills. He was a curious seal as you can tell different from most other creatures when captured. He loved to explore and apparently like to waddle around into new places like the Goodridge house. He was also famous for his famous tricks at the aquarium and his ability to remember every year where Rock Port was.
