LEWISTON – Frederick C. Nickerson, 49, of Lewiston, died Feb. 4, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Sept. 8, 1958, son of George and Louise Nickerson.

Survivors include two sons, Joshua Nickerson of Wells and Tyler Nickerson of Rockport; two sisters, Bernadette Nickerson of Lewiston and Doris Tardiff and husband, Larry, of Lewiston; two uncles, John and Cecil Dorr of Lewiston; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Helen Dorr.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center for the care they gave Frederick.
