Thefts

Sometime overnight Jan. 30-31, someone attempted to steal a construction trailer from a work site at 256 Bates St. No damage was done to the trailer, and no property stolen.

Two corrugated aluminum loading docks were stolen from Vincent Fruit at 2 Cedar St. sometime overnight Jan. 31 to Feb. 1.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked at 98 Pine St. had a window broken out overnight Jan. 29-30.

A vehicle parked at the Sun Journal had sugar poured into its gas tank sometime overnight Jan. 29-20.

A vehicle parked at the Oak Street parking garage had a taillight and a rear quarter panel damaged overnight Jan. 31 to Feb. 1.

A vehicle parked at 25 Sabattus St. was keyed overnight Feb. 1-2.

A vehicle driving past 134 Pierce St. had its windshield shot by a BB on Feb. 3 at 3 p.m.

Burglaries

A residence that is being demolished at 382 Central Ave. was burglarized on Jan. 30 and had copper pipe stolen from inside.

An apartment at 101 Birch St. had a door lock tampered with during the daytime on Feb. 1. Access was not gained but the door lock was destroyed.

BB Shootings

Two customers of the Derby Athletic Club at 40 Walnut St. were shot by BBs on Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. They were unable to pinpoint where the projectiles were fired from.

Operating Under the Influence Arrests

Melissa Vachon, 26, was charged with operating under the influence on Feb. 1 at 12:25 a.m. at 345 Main St. following a routine traffic stop.

Eric Turbide, 37, was charged with operating under the influence and operating after suspension on Feb. 1 at 12:34 a.m. at Main Street and Brooks Avenue following a routine traffic stop.

Heath Jenkins, 40, was charged with operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license on Feb. 1 at 8:25 p.m. at Main and Canal streets following a routine traffic stop.

Duane Moody, 44, was charged with operating under the influence on Feb. 3 at 1:15 a.m. at Lisbon Street and East Avenue following a routine traffic stop.

Operating After Suspension Arrests

Jose Mata, 30, was charged with operating a vehicle without a license on Jan. 30 at 3:26 p.m. at 395 College St. following a routine traffic stop.

Charles Gannon, 37, was charged with operating after suspension on Feb. 2 at 12:17 a.m. at Webber Avenue and Pleasant Street following a routine traffic stop.
