AUBURN — Emily B. Atwood, a family nurse practitioner, has been appointed to the Central Maine Medical Center associate professional staff. She is practicing in association with Family Health Care Associates in Auburn.

Atwood recently earned a master’s degree in family practice nursing from the University of Southern Maine College of Nursing in Portland. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine College of Nursing, and bachelor’s degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry, from the University of Maine at Farmington.

Family Health Care Associates recently became a clinical department of Central Maine Medical Center. It is located at 190 Stetson Road and can be reached at 784-7388.
