BOWDOIN – Clifton J. “Kip” Page, 57, of West Road, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, at his home from heart failure.
He was born in Lewiston, Aug. 5, 1950, the son of Delmont and Marie Jeannette Brule Page. He graduated from Sabattus High School in 1968, and served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972. He was married Dec. 1, 1973, to Melanie Allen.
He had been employed at Harlan Spiller, Central Maine Business Machine in Augusta and was a computer programmer at Digital Equipment.
He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, motorcycle riding and NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his spouse, Melanie; a daughter, Rachel Girouard and son-in-law, Gene; a son, Ryan Page and girlfriend, Becca Colbath; two grandchildren, Connor and Makenna Girouard, all of Bowdoin; two sisters, Florence Bergeron and husband, Albert, of Winthrop and Judith Merrill and husband, Alton, of Sabattus.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Janice Campbell Sienna.
