RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert A. Brown was celebrated Thursday at St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria” and “Shepherd Me O Lord.” Readings were given by Darryl and Daniel Brown. The eulogy was given by Dan Warner. Also attending the services was a delegation of St. Timothy Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella. Interment in the spring will be at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. Pallbearers were Darryl Brown, Daniel Brown, Glenn Brown, Dan Warner, Jerry Richards and Herb Adams. A reception followed in the parish hall of St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
