AUBURN – Marlene Rae (Jordan) Crawford died on Feb. 5, after a yearlong, courageous, battle with lung cancer.
She was born on Jan. 13, 1932, in Lewiston and was the youngest of Earle H. and Carrie E. Jordan’s 17 children. She graduated in 1950 from Edward Little High School and married Reginald W. Emery Sr. with whom she shares two children.
She married her second husband, David D. Crawford Jr. in 1988. Her grandchildren and volunteering at the Good Shepherd Food-Bank gave her much enjoyment. She was loved by all who knew her. Her positive attitude, love for life, and her unconditional love continue to nurture all those who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, David D. Crawford Jr. of Auburn; her children, Reginald W. Emery Jr. of Minot and Kim E. Emery of Auburn; stepchildren, Steven and James Crawford of New York, and Kathleen Raymond and Sharon Hayes of Florida; grandchildren; stepgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice E. Clark of Auburn and June E. Caldwell of California; brothers, Earle H. Jordan of Florida, and Lawrence T. Jordan of Poland.
She was predeceased by her parents; as well as 12 siblings.
