MASON, Mich. – A major void has been left in our hearts and our lives with the death of our husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Phil “Phrogg” as all of his family and friends called him, was born May 27, 1936, in Bath, to Louis and Agnes Perreault; he passed away Feb. 7.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1962. He retired from Michigan State University, broadcasting services in May 1997. Since then he and Pat have enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada, making many friends along the way.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Patricia; son, William of Montgomeryville, Pa.; daughter, Alexandria Worth of Bulverde, Texas; stepsons, Thomas (Patricia) Hayden of DeWitt, Mich., John (Rosie) Hayden of Auburn and Christopher (Nancy) Hayden of Brewer; granddaughters, Morgen and Grace Singstad of San Antonio, Texas; former son-in-law, Charlie Singstad; sisters, Rachelle (Paul) Michel of Lewiston, Collette (Brian) Curtis of Guyana, South America, Gabrielle (Larry) Turcotte of Greene and Suzanne (David) Dwinal of Old Orchard Beach; many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews; and special friend, Gregg Mulder.

He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Edmund.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go, others stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same. Phrogg has left many footprints on a lot of people’s hearts.
