LEWISTON – Arthur R. Caron, 53, of 29 Malibu Drive, formerly Hamden Street, Auburn, died Saturday, Feb. 2, surrounded by his loving family at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lewiston on March 5, 1954, he was the son of Arthur L. and Rita A. Lagueux Caron. Educated locally, he was certified as a radon inspector and apprenticed as both a surveyor and plumber.
Although his thirst for knowledge took him in many directions, he is most remembered for his love of cars and his uncanny ability to take things apart and understand what made them work. Family and friends will remember him for his charitable heart, quick wit and sardonic disposition.
Survivors include a son, Thomas and wife, Danielle, of Gardiner; a daughter, Heidi Caron of Auburn; two brothers, Donald and wife, Jacqueline, of Minot, and Gerry of Lewiston; a sister, Theresa and husband, James Bazinet, of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Kiera Young and Jacob Caron, and another grandchild on the way.
We all loved him and will miss him dearly.
