PORTLAND – Kendrick Ray Pease I, 36, of Freeman Township, died unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 8, at Maine Medical Center with his family by his side.

He was born on March 6, 1971, in Portsmouth, N.H., the son of Ray and Betty (Oliver) Pease of Freeman Township. He attended school in Berwick. Kendrick was self-employed as a lumberman (skiddahboy), for the past six years. He could always be found skillfully tinkering. He was readily available for friends or family, helping where needed. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He will be forever missed for his humorous personality and his contagious laughter while telling one of his wild stories or funny jokes.

He is survived by his three children, Shelby Nicole Richardson, Brandy Lynn Pease and Kendrick Ray Pease II; his parents; his brothers, Kurt Pease of Florence, Ky., and Shawn Pease; his sisters, Melissa (Missy) Pease and Cheryl Luce and her husband, Fred; seven nieces and nephews, Danielle Bisson, Jade, Mikayla and Orin Luce, Casey Potter and Anna Pease and Dustin Pease and his wife, Emily, and their son, Oliver; friend and mother of his children, Tammy Noelle Richardson; girlfriend, Jacqui “Chippy” and her children, James Kai and Alana Mahar; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
