WINTHROP – The Winthrop youth baseball/softball/T-ball program have scheduled coaches planning meetings. Baseball coaches will meet Tuesday, Feb. 26, while softball and T-ball coaches will meet Wednesday, Feb. 27. Both meeting are at 7 p.m. at the recreation building.

Registration will be held Sunday, March 9 and March 16 from 1-5 p.m. at the Winthrop Grade School gym. The program is open for boys and girls ages 4 to 12. For more information, call the Winthrop Area YMCA at 377-9686.

AAU basketball

AUBURN – Triple Threat Girls Basketball Club is holding tryouts for girls ages 14 to 17 on Sunday Feb. 17 at Central Maine Community College in Auburn.

The Threat will be having 2 AAU teams competing in and out of state until at least June. Everyone from Maine is welcome to tryout.

Please bring an insurance/AAU signup refundable fee of $17.
